Wind Ridge Farm needs good help from May through early August.

Retail or farm experience desirable, but not necessary.

Field help
Farm Manager, 21+, to fill in. Keeps eye on all aspects of the farm when open for business, understands that it is important to manage, yet not interfere with customers and employees unless it it necessary. Must have management experience. This person is needed for 2006.
Field Manager, 18+ years Use established organizational system to keep track of, monitor and update where ripe fruit is in the field. Take customers to those areas. Close areas as they get picked. Good organization and communication skills a must. This is a challenging job.
Field Help, 16+ years Work with Field Manager.
Check-in
15+ years Greet customers as they arrive at stand. Make cartons, prepare picking containers, answer phone, sometimes help at check-out.
Check-out
This job is occasionally available. Weigh produce, use cash register, answer phone, check people in when not too busy. This job is for mature, experienced people only. Good math and communication skills are necessary.

All work is part-time. The best workers and those who return year after year get first choice of hours and days. Younger workers (15 years) generally do not work more than 4, 4 hour shifts a week unless they can handle more.
